Programmes

CCSS organises its work around five thematic programme areas and a wider portfolio of flagship initiatives. Each programme combines original research, convening, and public engagement.

Thematic programmes

  • Peace & Civic Transition — pathways out of war and toward inclusive, civilian-led statehood.
  • Political Economy — the structures of power, resources, and reconstruction in Sudan.
  • Governance & Constitution — institutional design, accountability, and the rule of law.
  • Constructing Sudan — the long-form intellectual project anchoring CCSS’s work (see dedicated page).
  • Arab-African Relations — Sudan’s strategic geography across the Arab and African worlds.
